Vihara Maha Devi
The story of Vihara Maha Devi is an ancient Sri Lankan historical tale, which will be played out on stage through traditional Kanydan and lyrical dance forms along with drama. The narration you are about to hear will explain this tale about female empowerment, bravery, and sacrifice.
This act has been a labour of love for Sathyangi, the choreographer alongside the talented and committed performers you will see on stage. Narrated, original music composed, and costumes designed by the talented Sathyangi. A special mention to Sathyangi’s gifted mum for making all the costumes you are about to see.
