Wahi Bidu

Wahi Bidu is a folk act depicting the people of a village praying to the gods for rainfall after suffering from periods of drought. One of the main sources of income for the village folk is the sales of their crops, and their growth is dependent on adequate rainfall. The dancers here demonstrate the anticipation and happiness of the prospect of rain coming.
