“The Search,” an exploration of the innate yearning for belonging that resides in us all. This elusive feeling manifests in myriad forms—through love, family, a partner, friends, community, a space, or within ourselves. In this piece, Rangi intertwines her experiences in Kandyan dance, contemporary dance, somatic practices, and Gaga movement, creating a unique movement vocabulary that seeks pathways to freedom within a defined structure. Drawing inspiration from the fluidity of water, Rangi traverses the stage, symbolising an endless quest for meaning and connection.
