Our Platform
Our aim is to connect, promote and share Sri Lankan dances with aspiring dancers, choreographers, teachers and performers across the world under one platform. We hope Sri Lankan dance practitioners from all over the world can share their dance stories with us and get to know like-minded artists from anywhere in the world!
එකම වේදිකාවක් යටතේ ලොව පුරා සිටින නර්තන ශිල්පීන්, ගුරුවරුන් සහ ප්රසංගකරුවන් සමඟ ශ්රී ලංකා නැටුම් සම්බන්ධ කිරීම, ප්රවර්ධනය කිරීම සහ බෙදාගැනීම අපගේ අරමුණයි. ලොව පුරා සිටින ශ්රී ලාංකික නර්තන ශිල්පීන්ට ඔවුන්ගේ නර්තන කථා අප සමඟ බෙදා ගැනීමටත්, ලෝකයේ ඕනෑම තැනක සිට සමාන අදහස් ඇති කලාකරුවන් දැන හඳුනා ගැනීමටත් හැකි වනු ඇතැයි අපි බලාපොරොත්තු වෙමු!

நமது இனிய இலங்கை நடனக்கலையை யாவரிடமும் எடுத்துச் செல்வதற்காகவும் நடனக்கலையோடு இணைந்த நடனக்கதைகளை பகிர்ந்து கொள்வதற்காகவுமான நோக்கம் இது.
அது மட்டுமல்லாமல் நமது இலங்கை நடனங்களை உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள ஆர்வமுள்ள நடனக்கலைஞர்கள், நடன இயக்குனர் கள் ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் கலைஞர்களுடன் ஒரே மேடையில் இணைப்பதும் ஊக்குவிப்பதுமே எம் நோக்கம். இலங்கை நடனபயிற்சியாளர்கள் தங்கள் நடனக்கதைகளை எங்களுடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ளலாம்.
மற்றும் உலகில் எங்கிருந்தும் ஒத்த எண்ணம் கொண்ட கலைஞர்களை அறிந்து கொள்ள முடியும் என நம்புகிறோம்.

Namaskaraya
An obeisance done at the beginning and end of dance to pay respect and seek blessings.
Mandiya
The basic first dance position in Kandyan dance; typically perfected through a series of footwork steps.
Pancha Anga
The coordination of hands, feet, eyes, head and body in the rhythmic movement.
