NARTHANA is London’s first Sri Lankan cultural dance show, bringing together performers of all ages and backgrounds in a celebration of Sri Lankan heritage, storytelling and movement.
Curated by Kandyan dance practitioner, choreographer, teacher and author Miss Dilini Seneviratne, the production showcases a vibrant mix of traditional and contemporary Sri Lankan dance styles including Kandyan, Bharatanatyam, Pahatharata, Sabaragamu, Folk, Contemporary, Lyrical and Ves.
Derived from the Sinhala word for “dance”, NARTHANA creates a platform for dancers at every stage of their journey to share their passion on stage while celebrating the richness and diversity of Sri Lankan culture.
At its heart, NARTHANA is also about giving back. Each year, the show supports charitable causes connected to Sri Lanka, uniting communities through dance, culture and purpose.
